FLIGHTMAP uses a so-called sandbox data entry mode. This means that, before entered data is written into the database, it is first stored in a closed environment. This has as most important advantage that it allows for multiple users to modify and edit the data (e.g. to calculate with several different scenarios) without saving the changes.

When the FLIGHTMAP portal is opened, you enter the sandbox mode. If you choose to save the entered data into the database, you should hit the button in the top left corner of the screen.

Should you enter the data in the sandbox mode and forget to hit the button, FLIGHTMAP will provide a warning (see figure 1) when attempting to sign out by the button.
